Jan joined Big Blue Dot as president in 1999 and became a partner in 2000. Since arriving at the studio she has worked with various clients including Nickelodeon, Disney, PBS Kids, USAA, National Geographic, Procter & Gamble, MoMA and The Boston Children’s Museum. Jan brings 20 years of experience in child development, trend research, brand strategy, creative production, and management to Big Blue Dot. Before joining Big Blue Dot, Jan was a VP with Discovery and TLC earning multiple awards from BDA, PROMAX, EMMYs, New York Film and Television Awards, Outstanding Achievement in Children’s Programming for the NEA and a Golden Ace nomination. Jan holds a Master’s in Education from Harvard University, and is on the Board of Directors for Watertown Children’s Theatre. She lives in Watertown with her husband Steve, son Sam, daughter Natalie and goldendoodle Petey.
